Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the rental of vehicles by Paxonway. By signing or electronically accepting the rental agreement, the customer ("Renter") acknowledges that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Driver Age and Driving Licence
The driver must hold a valid driving licence for a minimum of two (2) years.
For driving licences issued in non-Latin characters, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.
A valid passport or national ID card must be presented upon vehicle collection.
3. Reservations and Vehicle Categories
Reservations are made by vehicle category and not for a specific vehicle model.
In the event of unavailability, the company reserves the right to provide a similar vehicle within the same category.
If no vehicle is available in the same category, a complimentary upgrade to a higher category may be offered.
4. Rental Duration, Extension and Late Return
The minimum rental period is twenty-four (24) hours.
Rental extensions are possible only upon prior communication with and approval from the company.
No refund will be issued in the event of an early vehicle return.
5. Insurance and Security
Basic Insurance (CDW/TP) is included in the rental price.
Standard Insurance is also available.
Full Insurance is also available.
6. Fuel Policy
The "Same to Same" fuel policy applies. The vehicle is delivered with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same fuel level.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged for the missing fuel based on the current local retail fuel price on the return date.
No refund is provided for any excess fuel remaining in the vehicle upon return.
7. Mileage Policy
Unlimited mileage is included in the rental.

9. Insurance Exclusions
Insurance coverage does not apply in the following cases:
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Driving by an unauthorized driver.
Off-road driving.
Use of incorrect fuel.
Loss of vehicle keys.
Locking the keys inside the vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle's interior.
Damage to the roof or undercarriage.
Failure to report an accident immediately to the company.
10. Accidents, Damages and Traffic Fines
In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately notify the company.
A police report is required for every accident.
The renter is required to complete and retain the European Accident Statement (Accident Report Form) at the scene of the accident.
Taking photographs of the accident scene is recommended and/or required.
The renter is solely responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and toll charges incurred during the rental period.
11. Vehicle Usage Restrictions
The rental vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes and on suitable public roads.
Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
Pets are not permitted inside the vehicle.
12. Delivery, Collection and Out-of-Hours Service
Available delivery and collection locations are displayed during the booking process.
Additional charges may apply for deliveries or collections in remote areas away from the company's base.
13. Ferry Transport / Travel Restrictions
The vehicle may not be transported or used outside the area or island where the rental takes place.
14. Cancellation, No-Show and Early Return
No refund will be issued in the event of a No-Show.
15. Vehicle Return, Cleanliness and Inspection
The vehicle inspection upon return is carried out in the presence of a company representative.
The vehicle must be returned in a reasonably clean condition.
16. Data Protection and Privacy
The company collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679).
Personal data is used exclusively for purposes related to the vehicle rental.
Personal data will only be shared with third parties where required by law or where necessary for the provision of the rental services.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.
